The word is that Steve Carell will be making his exit before the season finale, which means there are only a handful of episodes left before Michael Scott is gone. Is this really how he should be going out?
‘The Office’ began with an office hierarchy that put Michael first and Jim second, with Dwight panting at Michael’s side. Could the reshuffle put Darryl first and Dwight second, with Andy panting at Darryl’s side?

Of all people to dress up as Santa in the office, wouldn’t Darryl, Stanley, or Kevin all make a lot more sense than Michael? Hell, even Dwight could do it … with Mose as an elf and a barrel full of coal? That’s perfect!
It’s great that Pam intervened before Michael pursued his cancer theory, but where was she when he started following the herpes theory to its inevitable conclusion? The latter seems a lot more damaging to others, no?
