Can season three of ‘Leverage’ get this show back to its season one quality? If the premiere is any indication, I’d say they stand a fighting chance.
Leverage’s first season was near-perfect. Then, unfortunately, the show’s second season happened, which was, to paraphrase Eliot, 10 pounds of disappointment in a 5 pound bag.

NBC took over this week, with the 2010 Winter Olympics dominating all but one night of the week. That one loss came at the hands of ‘American Idol,’ which remains a ratings juggernaut. Elsewhere, repeats of ‘The Mentalist’ and ‘CSI’ swapped time slots at CBS. Is that a peek at the future of the CBS Thursday?
Even though Leverage’s season two finale had some great moments, I’m disappointed that it didn’t measure up to the greatness of season one’s near-perfect finale.
