Latest episode clacks for this show:

The Middle – Why not stop and see sunny Pittsburgh too?

I don’t know how Frankie couldn’t have known that Mike had never flown, but I was willing to buy it just for his “be cool” pleas, and the announcement about the first time fliers by the stewardess. I wonder if Mike ever went to the cockpit to collect his wings.

Ratings Clack – Crushing blows across the board

It was a grisly week of numbers, with show after show posting losses. There were series lows, and season lows. Bright spots included the ‘Grammy Awards’ and the premiere of ‘Suspect Behavior’. On cable, how is ‘Being Human’ stacking up against ‘Stargate Universe’?

The Middle – Can grownups skip around the room too?

Frankie brought up an interesting (using the word loosely) question: does society dictate that adults shouldn’t skip? I’m not sure I agree with her that it was our “main mode of transportation” as kids, but is it forbidden once you hit maturity?

Ratings Clack – Super Bowl is huge for FOX, Glee a disappointment

The Super Bowl was HUGE for FOX, but it looks like giving ‘Glee’ the coveted Sunday night slot was not the best idea. Over on cable, Justified returns, and FX execs can sleep a little easier.

The Middle – Frankie and Axl sitting in a tree

How many mothers out there saw themselves in the future (or the present) when Frankie threw her purse on over her robe and pajamas at the mere thought of hanging out with Axl for the day?

Ratings Clack – Good news for Fringe and 30 Rock?

Mid-season really heats up this with premieres from ‘Harry’s Law’, ‘American Idol’, ‘Skins’, ‘White Collar’, ‘Royal Pains’, and ‘Fairly Legal’. We also saw the debut of ‘Fringe’ on Friday, and the new NBC Thursday. There are also some surprising numbers for ‘The Game’ on BET, and more ‘Jersey Shore’ craziness.

The Middle – At least Mr. Ehlert wasn’t naked

Frankie sold herself short — keeping your boss’ colonoscopy secret has to be worth more than an additional 4% commission. Going by her track record, she would have been better off pushing for a guaranteed salary.
