‘Once Upon A Time’ could be shaping up as ABC’s next hit show after a very good week two outing. On cable, USA returned with new episodes of ‘Burn Notice’ and ‘Covert Affairs’, but that was much less of a fairy tale.

As we enter October it is time for the merciless axe of cancellation to start swinging. The week brought the first four pink slips for the 2011-2012 season as ‘Playboy Club’, ‘Free Agents’, ‘How To Be A Gentleman’, and ‘H8R’ were all sent packing.
‘Glee’ focused on some characters they’ve ignored for awhile; Mercedes (who I’ve missed) and Mike (who kinda grew on me.) And! There was more music from ‘West Side Story’!
