Ratings Clack – The NFL is still king, boosts Five-0

It was a bit of a slow week with President Obama again bringing mayhem to your regularly scheduled programming. The highlight in all of it was the NFL once again flexing its considerable ratings muscles. Over on cable, week two was not kind to MTV’s ‘Skins’.

At Bob’s Burgers, meat is murder

Yes, meat just might be murder, but it’s showcased hilariously through Bob Belcher’s family of wisenheimers. Trans-gendered animals, word play and cow dung texts make for a half hour of Sunday evening frivolity.

Ratings Clack – Good news for Fringe and 30 Rock?

Mid-season really heats up this with premieres from ‘Harry’s Law’, ‘American Idol’, ‘Skins’, ‘White Collar’, ‘Royal Pains’, and ‘Fairly Legal’. We also saw the debut of ‘Fringe’ on Friday, and the new NBC Thursday. There are also some surprising numbers for ‘The Game’ on BET, and more ‘Jersey Shore’ craziness.

Ratings Clack – The Cape and Off The Map have rough starts

The mid-season premieres continue to roll out, but not with the numbers that the networks might have been hoping for. ‘The Cape’ and ‘Off The Map’ both had less than stellar starts this week, while Bob’s Burgers took a hand-off from the NFL and scored big.

Bob’s Burgers – Who’s the beef?

It’s the grand re-re-re opening of Bob’s Burgers, complete with extra fries and a heavy dollop of mirth and merriment. Plus! No human flesh was used in the writing of this review.
