What happened to Leverage? Seriously, can someone tell me what the frak changed? The first season was incredible. Despite the fact that I’d been hearing about the production for some time leading up to its premiere, the show still managed to surprise the hell out of me. Brilliant chemistry amongst a (relatively) unknown cast, a […]
Prior to attending, I had no plans to write anything up following a conference call with Candace Cameron Bure. But while she didn’t drop any breaking news on those of us who listened in, she did answer enough questions to leave me with the impression that the direction of Make It or Break It is […]
I have yet to come up with any super-great possible explanation as to why [adult swim] decided to release such an odd mish-mash of DVDs for Adult Swim in a Box. Someone online casually suggested that it may have been because there were too many of certain seasons in a warehouse and [as] just wanted […]
A preview of the new TNT series Men of a Certain Age, starring Ray Romano, Scott Bakula, and Andre Braugher. Men of a Certain Age is a show about three college friends who’ve reached middle age. Each of their stories is unique, and yet each one is also identifiable. He said it’s unusual to have three guys standing around, talking about life, without a dead body on the table, or them being cops, lawyers, or doctors. But just because it’s a first doesn’t mean it doesn’t work — it works extremely well, and I’m really happy that this show came together.
I got the chance to watch the chapter five, or mid-season three finale, of Greek yesterday. It was … interesting. There were some “giant” aspects to it, plots that towered right up there with some of the memorable stuff that they’ve given us thus far. And then there were stories that just didn’t turn out […]
It’s been about seven months since we’ve seen a new episode of Battlestar Galactica. Sound like a long time? Well, actually, that’s about the same amount of time we had to wait to see the second half of the fourth season after the first half aired, so for BSG fans, this isn’t new. I’m talking, […]
This could end up going one of two ways. Option “A” says USA Network churns out a hit each and every time it goes to bat, specifically because of the tried and true formula applied to every one of its original series. In this scenario, it makes no difference that the network is increasing the amount of new series […]
