‘Rookie Blue’ tackles the sensitive subject of an officer involved shooting. Living in the shadow of the Trayvon Martin shooting, tackling a shooting where the victim might not be guilty is touchy ground.

We were treated to some pretty awesome opening performances for the contestants to showcase their wares. Still, there were things that just shouldn’t come to light in the show.

In the season premiere of ‘Necessary Roughness,’ TK is definitely not over being shot–he has a gun and he’s not afraid to use it. But is a PTSD arc enough to sustain the show over the season, or will it be a retread of his issues in Season One?

It’s summer time, folks! USA’s medical hit ‘Royal Pains’ returned with a killer season premiere! Seriously — someone may have died at the end of the episode. Intrigued? I bet you are!
