Bio: If you live on the East Coast and watched a local ad on cable between 2002 and 2005, there's a chance I had something to do with that-- I may have even written it. I'm sorry and I promise that I never *wanted* to end a commercial with a shot of the employees standing in the parking lot and waving; it just happens. Right now, I confine my writing to various corners of the internet, including the entire CliqueClack family of sites. If you travel between the sites, you can probably figure out enough information about me to steal my identity. So good luck with that, sucker. Have fun paying my student loans.

A Visit from Kevin Reilly (The Night Before Upfronts), part six

Today our group poem continues. When we left off, Hugh Laurie was getting ready to barge into Kevin Reilly’s office, despite Joss Whedon’s warnings, and Prison Break‘s Dominic Purcell showed up to try to stop him. Did it work, or does Hugh Laurie commit career suicide by barging into the big boss’s office? Read on […]

Things that didn’t suck this week – healthy ovums, holiday songs and violence

“All I need is a healthy ovum and I can grow my own Leonard Nimoy!” –Sheldon gets the perfect gift on The Big Bang Theory There were a couple of episodes in a row of The Big Bang Theory that really underwhelmed me. They were just kind of awkward and didn’t completely work. I didn’t […]

Quotation Marks – Holiday songs, transvestites and drinking

(Week of Dec. 20, 2008) Since it’s the week before Christmas and most shows are in reruns, we’re kind of light on quotes this week. Nevertheless, we still managed to get some gems. Check out some of our favorite quotes from this past week and add your own to the comments. How I Met Your […]

Who shot Charlie Crews?

Ding dong. Is it the Avon lady? Is it an eager Girl Scout? If your name is Charlie Crews, you won’t be receiving the perfect shade of lipstick or a box of delicious cookies; you’ll be getting a bullet in the chest.

Life – Charlie shoots his father “hello”

(Season 2, Episode 12 – “Trapdoor”) I was going to say that this episode was kind of underwhelming, especially since it’s the last new one until freakin’ February. But then, well, I got to the last three minutes, and holyhellwhatjusthappenedwasthatreal? Talk about a surprise ending. First things first: I found the actual mystery of the […]

Heroes – In Heroes land, it’s one punch and you’re done

(Season 3, Episode 13 – “Chapter 13: Dual”) The thing about tense situations in Heroes is that they kind of don’t matter. For instance, in tonight’s episode, nearly everyone’s life was in danger at some point in the episode. Since it’s Heroes though, even if they do die, it doesn’t necessarily matter, since no one […]

Heroes – Duality – Live-Blogging/Chat

Tonight is the last Heroes episode of the year, a fact that I know because NBC has been emphasizing it in every promo that they’ve run. Does this mean that it will be an extra-good episode? I would hope so, but that remains to be seen. After the unpleasantness with Arthur last week, Nathan and […]
