Bio: If you live on the East Coast and watched a local ad on cable between 2002 and 2005, there's a chance I had something to do with that-- I may have even written it. I'm sorry and I promise that I never *wanted* to end a commercial with a shot of the employees standing in the parking lot and waving; it just happens. Right now, I confine my writing to various corners of the internet, including the entire CliqueClack family of sites. If you travel between the sites, you can probably figure out enough information about me to steal my identity. So good luck with that, sucker. Have fun paying my student loans.

Heroes: Exposed – Live-blogging/chat

Heroes chat is back! Sorry about the unexpected absence, but I had to move a few states away on very short notice (now those coppers will never find me, see…), so I’ve spent the past two weeks surrounded by boxes and contemplating suicide. But now everything’s okay! And we’ve got a new episode of Heroes! […]

Quotation Marks: Mars, Skeletons and a Rock

This week was kind of light as far as good quotes were concerned, since a lot of our favorite shows were on hiatus. The plus side is that what we lack in quantity, we make up for in interesting shows — like the World Skeleton Championships, for instance (I don’t even know what that means!). […]

90210 – So, Rhonda’s completely insane, right?

Oh, Aimee Teegarden. We’ve fallen in love with you as the sweet, shy Julie Taylor on Friday Night Lights. But now you’re doing a guest stint on 90210, and while you look like the same Coach’s daughter we’ve know and love, this character is a little bit… different. I mean, bitch is crazy, right? When […]

Heroes – On the run! (Live-blog/chat)

This week, Heroes seems to be saying, “Hey, Lost is really popular, and its fans aren’t nearly as pissed off as ours are. Plane crash!” After the plane bound for Heroes Gitmo goes down, our intrepid friends go on the run, while Sylar searches for his real daddy. Last week’s episode left me confused and […]

Quotation Marks – Icicles, cartoon pilots and bongs

We started this week off with the Super Bowl, which, despite having some of the worst commercials in recent memory, yielded some pretty great quotes. In fact, between that, The Office, Leverage and 30 Rock, this was a great week for quotes. Below are some of our favorites — feel free to post yours in […]

90210 – Do teen dramas need to teach kids about sex?

Let’s face it: television is influential. As much as you may claim that advertising doesn’t affect you, or that you know characters on TV shows are fictional, Your “Rachel” haircut back in ’96 says you’re full of crap. If TV shows didn’t at least partially shape the way we live our lives, why would the […]

Heroes – Now no one has powers! (Live-blog/chat)

Did you notice that the ads for Heroes that ran during the Super Bowl last night said, “The new season of Heroes starts tomorrow!”? Were the other live-blog/chats I did of this show just a dream? Am I really so boring that that’s what is on my subconscious mind when I’m sleeping, or is NBC […]
