Bio: If you live on the East Coast and watched a local ad on cable between 2002 and 2005, there's a chance I had something to do with that-- I may have even written it. I'm sorry and I promise that I never *wanted* to end a commercial with a shot of the employees standing in the parking lot and waving; it just happens. Right now, I confine my writing to various corners of the internet, including the entire CliqueClack family of sites. If you travel between the sites, you can probably figure out enough information about me to steal my identity. So good luck with that, sucker. Have fun paying my student loans.

30 Rock, The Mentalist, The Office – Daily rerun roundup

There’s definitely some good new stuff on TV tonight, including brand new episodes of Samantha Who? and Burn Notice. However, if that’s not your thing, there are, as always some pretty decent reruns. At 8 PM, there’s an episode of 30 Rock with Dennis. I love Dean Winters so much, that it doesn’t even matter […]

Diary of a Weeds Virgin – U-Turn makes a wrong turn

(Season 3, Episodes 4-6) This second batch of episodes isn’t as action-packed as the first, but nevertheless, I really like this season so far. Nancy, while still not a character I can get behind, at least isn’t making me hate her so much. It’s probably because she’s come out and told her kids she’s a […]

Diary of a Burn Notice Virgin – Season 2 starts with a mysterious woman

(Season 2, Episodes 1-3) So they are really not rushing with this whole Carla storyline, are they? Talk about a slow burn. In the first three episodes of season 2, Michael gets out of the panel truck, but we find out basically nothing about who may or may not have burned him, except that Tricia […]

Diary of a Weeds virgin – There are no easy answers for Nancy

(Season 3, Episodes 1-3) Ever since its excellent cliffhanger at the end of season 2, I’ve been super-exited about starting season 3 of Weeds. I’m happy to report that the first three episodes do not disappoint. We start off exactly where we left off, and the story takes a bunch of twists and turns that […]

America’s Got Talent made me glad I lived in Jersey City

I moved to new york exactly four years ago on July 1. I started out renting a room by the week from a nice Hispanic family in Harlem. I moved around several more times before ending up in Jersey City with a baby. My time in the JC was brief– maybe about 10 months. I […]

Jon Hamm, Royal Pains and a Burn Notice marathon – Daily rerun roundup

We’ve got your standard 30 Rock/ Office block, but tonight on the menu you also have your choice of the Royal Pains pilot or a Burn Notice marathon! It’s almost like TV is good right now, right? Just squint your eyes and you can see it, I swear. USA is airing a Burn Notice marathon […]

Diary of a Burn Notice Virgin – Season one comes to an end

(Season 1, Episode 11 “Loose Ends” Part 1&2″) Season 1 of Burn Notice has been a bumpy road for me. I like the idea, but the execution has never quite worked all the way. Jeffrey Donovan (who I am still convinced is an Australian operative living among us and just posing as a dude from […]
