Win a Suits prize pack to celebrate the first season!

The first season of 'Suits' is coming to an end and we are giving away a prize pack to one lucky fan! Leave a comment about the show to win!

Unfortunately, the first season of Suits is coming to an end this week. It was the show I looked forward to most each week this summer from both returning and new shows. Even though, it didn’t win as the favorite summer show in our poll,  it was one of the best shows!

We have partnered with the USA Network to bring you a special prize pack giveaway that includes: a custom nylon bag, Suits hat, Powerstick, Art of Shaving products (or equivalent), a USA Summer T-shirt, and a USA 10-City Summer Guide for an approximate retail value of $135.

It is easy to enter.  Leave a comment below about your favorite moment or character from this season of Suits by this Friday, September 9, 2011 at Midnight ET. We’ll pick one recipient completely at random and alert them after the giveaway ends (make sure your spam filters aren’t blocking mail from @cliqueclack.com!). Only one entry per person, and you must have a valid U.S.-based mailing address. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents of 18 years of age or older only. Not following these guidelines voids your entry. Good Luck!

Check out our Burn Notice prize pack giveaway too!

Easily the best new show. It should have won in your poll.

Mike Ross is my favorite character

This isn’t an entry (I don’t need the swag) but I watched the first 7 episodes – more than half the season – between Sunday and Monday. I was hooked.
How was it not on my radar until I started getting filming notices at my office in the spring? They even do a decent job of dressing Toronto as New York and I’ve nearly been fooled, though I’d still be buzzed if I played “Spot Toronto” as a drinking game.

Harvey is my favorite character.

Definitely the best new show. Admittedly, it didn’t grab me quite as much at the start as I had hoped, but looking back on it the character development was worth the watch and wait.

My favorite moment was the mock trial. That was what really started making the characters feel real to me. Mike showed that he’s not just another jerk in a suit; he has feelings and cares about other people’s feelings, too.

Stupid US resident rules.

Mike’s crazy photographic memory. When Harvey is revealed to be a past ADA. Anything with Jessica being Jessica. The KISS. Anytime Louis gets spanked. Just any Harvey thing because Gabriel Macht is great.

And if Harvey gets the brown and grease out of his hair…that would be a good moment.

I really like the back and forth between Harvey and Mike. The best one was when Harvey mentioned that Captain Kirk was the man.

Harvey is my favorite character hands down.. He really is tough but fair.. And the way he’s teaching Mike is part “throwing him at the deep end of the pool”, part “I’m giving this kid a chance and back him up”, and part “I’m giving you my two cents, even if it’s advice that you don’t want to hear”

Love this show – from the first episode which I caught half-way in when it aired on another channel in the middle of a Sunday afternoon – ever since that, I’ve been hooked! I love how they use typical “law-type” show situations and turn them around so you don’t know how things are going to be resolved. Couldn’t tell you a favorite scene or character – they are all fantastic. I even listen to the theme song instead of fast-forwarding through!

I have enjoyed Suits from day (or I should say night) one but the episode I felt was pivotal to my enjoyment was the mock trial. Mike probably single-handedly raised our in-bred hatred of lawyers several notches when he refused to go after Rachel on the stand and lost the trial but won the girl! When it looked like Mike and Jenny were not going to happen, I started rooting for Rachel. Now he has Jenny and Rachel! I can’t wait for the start of season two to see how these relationships play out.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention – I enjoy the legal stuff too! LOL!

Favorite moment was when Mike and rachel pretended to be a married couple buying a house.

I just looked at that poll. I haven’t even heard of Nine Lives of Chloe King.

Anyways my favorite moment was the Trekkie moment. Even 30 years after Star Trek 2 came out we still get references! :)

Love the show and agree with Richard Leach, that is the best of the new summer shows. Favorite characters have to be Mike and Harvey, especially the subtle development of Harvey’s character from the complete hot-shot, to hidden concerns for people and ethics. With most excellent shows, the entire cast is great. As carolinagirl points out–looking forward to season two, just to watch how the relationships with Mike, Jenny and Rachel play out. Suits is again one of the Jewels, that in my house, makes cable so necessary for good TV. I find that I am more interested in renewals/cancellations and scheduling of cable favorites, than what the networks are doing.

I have really enjoyed this new series… I am a big fan of Gina Torres and started watching it mainly to see her in action. But to my surprise, I found the show very fun and entertaining! I love the interaction of the characters and the writing is superb! Kudos to USA for yet another wonderful show! =0)

My favorite moment was in episode one. It was a line that Mike Ross gave to his drug-dealer friend when he was breaking ties with him. He sent him out the door and his friend said:

“C’mon, you know I don’t want to live in a world where we’re not tight.”
and Mike replies:
“Then kill yourself.”

Classic.

Probably because I would love to have a secretary like Harvey’s Donna working for me; but she makes a huge impression on me with a relatively small part screen-time wise.

September 8, 2011 at 10:41 PM

My favorite of the new USA shows–Mike Ross is my favorite character

September 9, 2011 at 10:44 PM

Mike is my favorite character. Jenny and Donna are my second favorites, though! :))
