I don’t know about you, but I’m pumped for AMC’s premiere of The Walking Dead.
Talk is rampant about this series. The pilot is outstanding in my opinion. (It left my jaw on the floor.) Zombie fanatics are champing at the bit for Halloween night to come ’round so they can get a gander at the hit comic turned television series. Everyone – and I mean everyone – is chattering about this show. Expectations are flying high.
Among the buzz, little interesting tidbits of news pop up here and there. But one of the spiffiest and eye-catching bits has to be from one Daniel M. Kanemoto, who was so inspired to put together the animated sequence offered below. It compliments the AMC’s production superbly while having nothing whatsoever to do with it.
And, when something like this catches the eye of personalities such as Damon Lindelof (Lost) and Gale Anne Hurd (Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss), well … you know you’ve got something special on your hands.
So … enjoy this little treat. I’m certain you’ll agree it’s amazing. It will tide you over ’til The Walking Dead premieres All Hallow’s Eve …

Um…. Wow!
This opening is far better than the actual show’s opening sequence.
However, the pilot was pretty tops. It seems pretty true to the source material.
