When I saw these two titles coming up for release, I knew I was going to get in line for reviewing them. Having a son who’s majorly into superheroes makes for lots of superhero cartoony hotness in our household, and so our DVD library of reviewed old cartoon series … grows. Some of it isn’t suitable yet for him, so I watch them for the good of our readers. Yeah, that’s it.
As part of the reviews (which will come once we get our copies), we’re giving away one copy each of X-Men, Volume 5 and Iron Man, The Complete Animated Series to two random commenters to this post. Simply tell is which one you prefer as your comment and why. Both are available in stores starting this week.

I prefer iron Man cause my son loves Iron Man and I can watch it with him

Iron Man, although I like the Ultimate Tony Stark much better than the fascist one. And I haven’t read X-Men since the ’90s.

I prefer Iron Man as well. I’m much more a fan of characters that create their circumstances such as Iron Man, Daredevil, Batman, etc. than characters who are born with powers.

I would say X-Men, the animation for Iron man wasn’t as good as the animation for X-Men was. Also I thought the plots for x-men were just plain better.

I’d have to go with Iron Man, because he’s a character I can relate to and identify with a lot more than any of the X-Men, and I was a big fan of the show in my younger days!
My son is totally disappointed that I won’t let him see Iron Man 2 in theaters, but he’s too young. Tough crap, boy. Maybe he’d be placated if I could give him the Iron Man cartoon instead. I’d be more than happy to sit and watch it with him. Thanks.
