South Park – Seriously, what handkerchief?

This was a great start to the season, hitting on a subject that was just ripe for being slammed by the 'South Park' crew. Remember folks: don't be a turd in the punchbowl.

- Season 14, Episode 1 - "Sexual Healing"

“Wow I didn’t know golf games were this cool!”
“Yeah EA Sports really outdid themselves this time.”

If there’s one thing South Park knows how to do it’s taking a situation that likely more than half the country considers a serious issue and tears it to shreds … ESPECIALLY when it’s actually an incredibly absurd “issue” that the public and media have blown way out of proportion. And they do this by making the situation appear ten times worse than people made it out to be in the first place.

One thing I actually missed this week was looking out for the hidden alien. Oh, I guess they are still there, but what’s the point of looking for them, now that the contest winner was found? Was that any of you readers? Me, I won an unlock code for the Xbox game. Oh well.

Speaking of Xbox games, the highlight of the episode for me was the fighting version of the Tiger Woods PGA Tour golf game. Comedy Central, listen to me: you must put a Flash version of this game on your website. Yes, you will likely be sued by Tiger Woods and Electronic Arts, but it will be worth it.

I’d go into the subject matter in the episode in more depth but … y’know, turd in the punchbowl and all that.

What did you think of this outing of South Park?

Very funny! Great start to the season. Loved the bit with “Bummers” (LOL) standing in front of the White House saying he didn’t ever want to see “bush” again! LOL
