There wasn’t a dry eye in the house during last week’s Live Chat of the Grey’s Anatomy premiere (except mine … because I’m a guy … that doesn’t cry … I promise). The real news wasn’t ‘who rode the big elevator to the sky,’ because that was fairly well spoiled all summer, but the merge of Seattle Grace and Mercy West hospitals (because that never happens on doctor shows).

I don’t understand why people who watch this show always refer to Chyler Leigh’s character as Alexis. Even if that is her real name, she’s always been called Lexie on the show. Just seems odd to me to watch a show every week and not know what character’s names are and use them correctly.
It’s a pet peeve.
