Dark Phoenix saga. The end.
I really want these DVD’s to be able to give to my little sister. I was a big dork growing up, and she was a cute blond girlie girl. She never read comics with me, but every Saturday morning she’d watch X-Men with me. To this day she can tell my friends the difference between Rogue, Storm, and Jean Grey.
She’d love the Dark Phoenix saga.
When I was in college I was in an area where there wasn’t a FOX affiliate. While I did try to catch the series when I was at home, I was never sure if I caught every episode.
Just to be clear, I know these are comics on DVD – I thought my sister might get into comics if they’re on the TV…even though they’re still comics.
Because it’s awesome, even though I wasn’t one of the lucky winners for vols 1 & 2 -
Because I loved watching them as a kid
I remember watching them every Saturday in college. All the guys would get up and go down to the lounge with our pop tarts so we could be comic geeks.
This series was a major aspect of my childhoods. Saturday mornings were based around X-Men and my soccer games.
i love the x-men and now my kids do too.
All of my vhs tapes of this series are worn out.
