This week’s a great one for Leverage fans, both new and old. Not only is the show’s second season premiering this Wednesday night at 9 PM (TNT), but the show’s first season comes out on DVD today! We’ll have a review up of what you get on that DVD sometime next week. Oh, and one more thing: we’re giving away three copies of Leverage: The 1st Season this week!

I want to start watching because I am a fan of Tim Hutton!
I’ll gladly take a copy because I need some new cable shows to watch because network TV is dead.
I love Leverage. My favorite character is definitely Parker. She’s so quirky and just plain socially awkward.
Hardison is hands down the man
Great show with a great cast, that comes off as really having fun while doing it. My fav? I’d have to say Nate just because of the acting abilities of Tim Hutton, who like his late, great father, Jim, adds to everything that he stars in. Would love to win a set of these if I get lucky–if not, then whomever does gets a great gift of a great show that one can only describe as ‘comfort food for the masses, tv-style!’

It’s all about Hardison.
I’ve always heard that it was great, but I missed the first couple of eps and never got around to catching up (and I’m one of those people who hates jumping in in the middle of a series), so I’d love the set.
Been enjoying the reruns of first season and can not wait for the new season to start. The casting is great and the stories are engaging. So far my favorite character is Hardison.
No doubt about it. Hardison is a geek like me!
I also missed the first couple of episodes so I’m waiting for them to come around again so I can get started and then watch the rest of the recorded episodes.
Tim Hutton looks good and it seems to be a well-rounded cast from the few commercials I’ve seen.
Favorite character? Elliot for sure. I still want to know what the *%^# was with those monkeys!
My favorite Leverage character is….NO! I can’t pick just one.
The Hitter-Eliot Spencer (Christian Kane) Smiling broadly, I have a total soft spot for Christian and when I saw that he was going to be in a show with Timothy Hutton..well you had me at Christian, I must stay. Eliot is a fantastic character that we’re just getting to know. I love that he has a mysterious past and that Batman sort of quiet anti-gun thing, yet you know he could level a Secret Service team alone if had to. The muscle of the team could so easily be a paper-thin character, but Christian makes you want to know this guy and what levels Eliot would go to in order to protect his team. Ace of a character.
The Thief-Parker (Beth Riesgraf) I never expected to adore a thief. Beth is truly a gem in this part. I love Parker’s complete lack of social skill and the way the team uses that to their advantage on certain cons. Her chemistry with Aldis is electric and I read that she’s the most amazing pick-pocket (a skill she acquired for the show). But let’s never let her leave acting for an alternative income stream, because Parker is the “never expect the obvious” person of the team.
The Hacker-Alec Hardison (Aldis Hodge) plays so much older than his age, but brings that “little kid” fun to every episode. I followed Aldis from his stints on Supernatural, but in Leverage he has hit his stride. He makes all the complicated stuff in the story (you know the stuff you have to know but normally never pay attention to) really fun and exciting to know. I actually think about his techno-stuff and have to watch the episode again just to think about the big question: Can they really do that? There is no boring when Alec H is on the case.
The Grifter-Sophie Devereaux (Gina Bellman) brings a warmth to the crew that softens the hard edges of every character. I love how she’s the worst at something, but everyone supports her in it anyway. I can’t wait each week to see what accent Sophie will have.
The Mastermind-Nate Ford (Timothy Hutton) plays in incredible broken man who gains the most unusual of families. He is the glue of this crazy pack, even when he doesn’t want to be. Tim makes the whole thing look utterly effortless and transitions from light to dark so well; we didn’t know it was happening. Love him!
So, no I can’t pick just one, except…I pick Leverage and I want to win me a DVD!

The characters are all great, but if I have to choose, I would have to say Sophia. Who can resist an English accent? Especially when it’s coming from such a beautiful woman. ~sigh~
I love the interaction between them all, but I’d have to say that my favorites are Hardison and Elliot.
Eliot, was always a fan of Lindsey in Angel, so good to see Christian Kane on TV again.

Hardison – “age of the geek, baby”
I was only able to see one episode before my DVR deleated the series by mistake, I would love to catch up before season two begins. I did like Timothy Hutton in the pilot as well as the dude with the out of control hair:)
Oh man, that’s a tough question! I have to say Eliot–I have a thing for hot badasses, and Christian Kane is awesome.
Elliot – The show first got my attention because Christian Kane was cast in it. As a big Angel fan, I try to follow the cast and try their new projects.
Now, I’m a big Leverage fan, and I’m looking forward to tomorrow night’s return!

I have seen so many ads for this show before Transformers 2 that i am now interested seeing it. So the DVD’s would make it a heck of a lot easier.

Elliot-he’s an ass-kicker with a big heart! His friendship with Hardison is fun to watch. Plus I have loved Christian Kane since he was on Angel. He is a hottie :)
Keep hearing good things about it, but don’t have cable or a dish so I’ve never seen it. DVD is the only way I can find out if the hype is fact or fiction.
I have watched all of season 1 of Leverage. Waited for it for over a year and was very pleased with it. It’s funny and drama all in one. I’m a huge fan of Christian Kane, so Eliot is my favorite character. If I had not known Christian before, Eliot would still be my favorite with Hardison in second place. This show was well worth the wait.

I love Parker. She is so very different and accustomed to being an outcast. She is always circling the group trying to belong while still maintaining a safe distance. I love how she is always oblivious to the norms of society – like kissing Hardison and then not knowing why he keeps asking about it. Great show – so happy it has returned!
My best friend talked me into watching the show, and now I am a huge Elliot fan. I could watch him crack heads all day long. MMM yummy!

My fave character would have to be Nathan. Playing the lead can be a thankless role, often overshadowed by supporting players’ eccentricities. However, Hutton brings a commanding presence & portrays Nathan’s various layers brilliantly.
I’m very interested in Leverage because I have several friends who like it, I’ve been a fan of Christian Kane since way back, and the DVD set is reasonably priced. I just heard good things about the commentaries, too. (One for each ep?!) I will most likely buy it anyway even if I don’t win.

I haven’t watched but the reviews are terrific and the cast is great.
Parker! I love her complete ridiculousness, her friendships with Hardison and Eliot, and the way she gets along with Sophie.
Too hard to pick a favorite, which is why it’s such a great show – there’s a favorite character for any mood. Forced to pick, I’ll go with Eliot – solely based on the rock-paper-scissors moment with Hardison (“You have a tell.” Priceless!)

My favorite character on Leverage is deinitely Hardison. I identify with him a bit, and it’s usually his humor that gives the show a light touch that makes it watchable regardless of how you happen to be feeling at the time.

Christian Kane is the only reason I started watching the show but the rest have made it great. There is one scene where Hardigan is talking to a lady in an office. They were talking about World of Warcraft and I was definately hooked after that moment.
This is just like Ocean’s 11.
I’m totally new to the show but the premise sounds awesome — beating corporate greed with computer smarts and cons — and I’ve always been a big fan of Timothy Hutton, so I’d love to check it out. Thanks!

I’ve always liked Timothy Hutton. Maybe it’s because I really liked his dad’s Ellery Queen series when I was a kid. I haven’t had a chance to see Leverage, because I don’t have cable, but I would love the chance to see all of Season One on DVD.
I knew Christian Kane back in Oklahoma when I was a student at OU and he was in high school but then I had the biggest crush on Timothy Hutton back in the days of TAPS. I still have to say that Eliot is my favorite character though because I like his pent up anger issues.

I just saw my first episode of the show a few weeks ago and it was really good. I think I liked it because it is different than any other show right now.
