I’ve been a fan of South Park for a while now, though I was a late starter. I think I didn’t start watching the show regularly until sometime in season four or five. Some people say the show’s lost its edge and isn’t funny like it used to be, but I say it’s just “grown up” and has become more relevant (if such a thing could be said about South Park).
Believe it or not, the new season starts this Wednesday. Starting tomorrow, though, you can pick up last season on DVD. If you’re too cheap or poor to do that, you may be in luck here. We’re giving away three copies of South Park season 12 on DVD — two copies to random commenters to this post, and one copy to a follower of CliqueClack on Twitter. Read below for important details.

My favorite moment didn’t happen. When they were asked what would have happened to the election episode if McCain won the writers had this crazy ass idea to make it like a Godzilla movie with lip sicking. That would have been great. :)

My favorite moment of all time in South Park was at the end of the first Halloween episode when Kenny came back to life and popped out of the grave, only to have a headstone fall on him…and then a plane crashed on top of it. That still cracks me up.
I have to say that the Imagination song is the WORST moment in South Park, but my coworker disagrees…he installed the Imaginationland screen saver WITH the song. I had to threaten to cut his speaker cords with my scissors before he disabled sounds during the screen saver.

My fab South Park moment was when they were going to have KFC and Cartman was like “If we all carry in teh groceries together we can get done faster” and while all the kids were carrying in the groceries he ate the skin off of every piece. My hubby and I think it is so sad that poor Kenny started crying!

Probably when Cartman said to his mom ‘get your bit.. a.. back in the kitchen and bake me a pie’ was when I totally lost all control of my body functions. Pretty much says it all for me!

My favorite moment was when they spoofed the Elian Gonzalez fiasco, and Janet Reno dressed up like the Easter bunny. Too funny!
The one where Cartman makes a Christian Band by taking famous songs and just changing the word love to God.
My favorite episode is the smoking episode with Rob Reiner and Cartman. The best part is the boys visiting the cigarette company.
I love the hippie episode, where Cartman locks all the hippies in his basement. My favorite part is when he finds the first drum circle. My best friend loves drum circles!

It is a toss up between when Butters sings “What What In The Butt” to make money for Canada on the Internet, and when Cartman thinks he is dead, and Butters is the only one who can see him (or so he thinks). When Butters parents take him for therapy and they have that crazy vibrating thing headed for his butt and they tell him to relax. The noise he makes is the funniest moment on South Park.
I thought the episode where they tried to save Chef from the Succubus was great. The wedding was the best part.
