Who is the brainchild behind these 30-second wonders of special effects and acting that interrupt my precious commercial watching time during Life on Mars? My four-year-old son and a Flip Mino could do a more entertaining and non-mind-numbing job.
I understand what ABC is trying to do … actually, no, I have no freaking clue what the hell ABC is trying to do with these videos. If they’re out to make me feel more of sound mind, in that I absolutely hate these things, then they’re succeeding brilliantly. Maybe they’re airing them during Life on Mars as if to say, “hey, if you think this show is bad, take a look at this piece of monkey crap!” Again, they’re doing a bang up job if that’s the case.
ABC lets viewers of Lost know that they can watch Lost Untangled during Life on Mars. Is this supposed to hopefully lure people into watching Life on Mars? For this? Hey ABC, I’ve got a great idea for a bit where I recreate dancing and crying scenes from Grey’s Anatomy to lure people in to watch Private Practice. It’s pure gold, I tell ya.

Yes, I think it’s their way to trying to motivate Lost viewers to watch Life on Mars. I have a feeling they think their shtick is edgy a la Robot Chicken. Poor bastards.
