One thing I love about Victory on Lipstick Jungle is that she seems like a real person. She’s not stick-thin like some actresses, and she seems to have a good heart, even as she climbs the ladder to success.
That was really apparent in last week’s episode when she took an awkward situation – a large woman needing a wedding dress in just a few days – and made her feel sweet and special and beautiful.
One thing worries me, though. I must admit I never really liked Victory and Joe together until it became apparent that they wouldn’t be together. And I was seriously bummed out when Victory finally realized that, too, but didn’t tell him when she had the chance — on the deserted road when he came to rescue them and ended up handing over the papers to her business. Essentially, he didn’t want anything more to do with it – or her.
Why didn’t she say anything? Why, Victory? And now that the show might be canceled, you might NEVER get together! And that would be a cryin’ shame.
What do you guys think? Is it just me, or are Victory and Joe perfect for each other?
