Flicks on DVD and Blu-ray – Rio, Conan, Spy Kids

This week, some angry birds go to 'Rio' and a comedy classics comes to Blu-ray for the first time along with Conan and the Spy Kids.

It’s really a slow home video week when the most-looked-forward-to releases are catalog titles making their Blu-ray debuts. There is one “big” movie this week — Rio — plus a comedy classic and a couple of franchises coming along to tie in with their newest theatrical ventures. And it certainly isn’t all bad when the Rifftrax crew releases a couple of their live performances. And if you remember the Doctor film series that originally starred Dirk Bogarde … all seven films are now available along with the others through Amazon.com.
